Karl Haas' Adventures in Good Music began in 1959. The classical music show is broadcast to over 100 stations in the United States and Australia, and is now online and available to mobile listeners each weekday.
In 1991, Haas received the National Endowment for the Humanities' Charles Frankel Award. He has won the prestigious George Foster Peabody Award twice. He was the first, and so far only, classical broadcaster to be named to the Radio Hall of Fame in Chicago.
Haas has written a book, "Inside Music", which is now in its 10th printing, and has recorded three best selling compact discs based on his programs.
