Internet Radio Show: Rhythm Sweet and Hot

Rhythm Sweet & Hot is a musical variety program that entertains audiences by capturing the essence of musical culture from the 1920s to the 1940s. Listeners to Rhythm Sweet & Hot hear the well-known, big names of swing and are also able to discover the music of artists whose records "can’t be found at the local mall." Hosts Ken Crawford and Mike Plaskett enjoy sharing recordings that have been passed over in the changing fashion of the music and radio businesses.

Ken is an internationally known record collector and Mike is a veteran broadcaster who produced his first big band programs in 1958. Their bantering brand of humor is based on thirty years of friendship and their passion for the music presented on Rhythm Sweet & Hot.

In 1998, DUQ syndicated Rhythm Sweet & Hot to stations around the country. Now, more than 20 stations carry the show weekly, including stations in Puerto Rico and Australia. Rhythm Sweet & Hot is produced by Dale Abraham.
