Internet Radio Show: Kim Komando

Computer technology is nothing new to Kim Komando. She was 9 years old when she first sat at a computer and this was the start of what she is called now by Information Week, a "one person PC industry."

In 1985, Ms. Komando earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Systems from Arizona State University financed by her providing computer hardware and software training classes. She secured a position as a Marketing Representative with IBM and after some time, made a career move to AT&T as a large business system Account Manager where she received various awards for her sales achievements.

Unisys Corporation next benefited from Kim's talents where she single-handedly closed the largest commercial deal with an $11 million sale to a FORTUNE 500 company in 1991. It was during her Unisys career that Kim began writing her weekly syndicated newspaper computer column and hosting radio and television programs. Her initial media success gave birth to The Komando Corporation. Today, Kim Komando reaches more than 40 million people monthly.
